How to integrate sec(x)

 

$\int sec x dx$

 Multiply the integral by $\frac{sec x+\tan x}{sec x+\tan x}$

$\int sec x . \frac{sec x+\tan x}{sec x+\tan x} dx$

$\int \frac{se{c}^2 x+sec x \tan x}{sec x+\tan x} dx$

Now derive 

sec x+tanx

It will equal $se{c}^2 x+sec x \tan x$

This is the formula of the denominator

The solution for the integral will equal $\int sec x dx =\ln \left(\left|sec x+\tan x\right|\right)$
